After having my first child, I felt the need to do something for myself. I felt that I was always doing this for my family, husband, son, relatives, co-workers, etc. I needed an outlet. A way to express myself and utilize my professional skills and combine it with my creative nature. I was always good in science and found that field to be very intriguing. However, once I started a professional career, all that creativity and interest went down the drain. My husband noticed this void and said I need a hobby other than shopping for handbags, candles, body products and makeup. He knows me very well, so I argued that shopping is a hobby by definition. But then realized and as much as I hate to admit it. He was right. My first attempt at a hobby was to become a make-up artist. I then realized I really did not have enough time or energy for that. So I left that hobby to my younger sister. Then I thought I should open a spa. That’s the second best place to be away from home. That would have required even more of my time and not enough of a creative outlet. Then one day, I decided to make my own body oil. I am so sick of what's out there in the market. I wanted to make an exotic body oil of quality not quantity. So I did my research and created my own body oil. Which I absolutely love Taehi Rain Flower. So that’s where the idea sparked to share my creation with the world. This is my creative outlet. This is what I was missing. I quickly wrote a list of all the things I loved, exotic countries, Harry Potter, Cirque de Soliel, Thailand, the ocean, science, art, magic, meditation, the spa and shopping. Mixed it all up and came up with TAEHI.
